Family Sharing

I am using an iPhone 6 with iOS 9.2. I also have an iMac running 10.11.2. Both are logged into my Apple ID account. When I turned on Family Sharing, it did not create a "Family" calendar that could be shared. I tried to create one but other family members could not see it. I turned off Family sharing and started over several times with the same results. What am I doing wrong?

Hi danielfromparma,

When you enable Family Sharing, the Family Calendar is automatically created in the Calendar App. If you are not seeing the calendar, restart your iPhone and your iMac. If you create an event, and then select the calendar options, Family Calendar will be one of them.

Set up Family Sharing

Start sharing

After your family members join, the features of Family Sharing are set up on everyone’s devices. Here's what you can do:

Get help

Get help if you don't see your family's shared content. To share purchased content, you need to turn on Share My Purchases and use the iTunes Store in the same country as your family members.

Take care,
